First Christmas Workshop of 2012

On October 27th we had a great workshop, my aunt was the hostess and did a great job bringing treats and drinks for her guests.  Most of the guests were new stampers and did a great job doing cards and making the projects their own.  The cards we made used the Joyous Celebrations stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue and the other card we used the Serene Silhouettes stamp set from the 2012-2013 catalogue. Both used the Embossing folders and the Big Shot wich has become my two favoite items to use from Stampin' Up!

I will be starting my Christmas Card Classes on November 8th 2012 so please register ASAP to get your spot as their is a limit of 8 participants per class.

Halloween Party

Thanks to everyone who came to my Halloween Card Party yesterday afternoon.  Sorry for the people who I could not make room for as we only have 8 seats (9 is tight) available for my parties and card classes.  I had a lot of fun teaching everyone the projects and enjoyed that most of the attendants were able to create their own versions of the projects.  Posted are the projects we made. This pumpkin card was made of the Jack of all Trades and  Delightful Dozen stamp sets.  This card project is great to put into a frame and place on your front door for all the Trick-or-Treaters to see.  The Candy bags with the Googly Ghouls Stamp Set is great to give to children on Halloween.

My first Blog

Welcome to my first Blog.  I have been creating cards and scrapbooking for many years and a few months ago became a independent demonstrator of Stampin' Up! Now I have added stamping to my card making and scrapbooking.  I'm hoping to post lots of card pictures, my schedule for card classes, and many links to the Stampin' Up! specials.  Posted is one of the cards I have been working on for an upcoming Birthday.  Thanks everyone for taking time to view my first blog post,
Melissa
